One thing we can say about Arianne Zucker is that she knows how to turn on the water works as Nicole Walker on Days of Our Lives (DOOL).
In fact, it seems she hasn’t gone a day without tears since her beloved Daniel died nearly a year-and-a-half ago. But, this time something wonderful happened to produce those tears. She got her baby back.
For nine months, Nicole had no idea the baby Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) was carrying was even hers. But, then she delivered the little girl in a dingy hotel room one stormy December night and bonded with the baby instantly–with good reason.
When Chloe fell into a coma, Nicole named the baby Holly and took care of her.
In fact, if you think of all the time Nicole spent on the run with Holly, you’ll realize she knows Nicole as her mother better than Chloe.

That’s why it was so tear-inducing for us, as well as Nicole, when Chloe gave the baby back this week. Zucker showed an array of emotions–from confusion to shock to disbelief, and finally, pure joy (with a bonus dose of Nicole Tears).
We felt every emotion along with Nicole as she realized after all these years she can finally be a mother to her own child. She may not have carried the child, but this little girl was created from a part of her and a part of Daniel and that’s what counts.
For this reason, Soap Hub gives Performer of the Week Honors to Arianne Zucker, an actress we will dearly miss.
