Susan Seaforth Hayes had quite the year on Days of Our Lives as a mother who lost her son in a motorcycle accident, and then learned she had a grown grandson she never knew of before.

Hayes’ performance earned the veteran actress Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. She and husband, Bill, will also receive Lifetime Achievement Awards this year.
