Key Takeaways
- EJ gets bad news.
- Tate figures out Holly’s problem.
- Stephanie and Alex spar over Joy.
- Abe begs Theo’s forgiveness.
EJ’s Web of Secrets Finally Starts to Unravel
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) is juggling a trifecta of problems. There is Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), looking to undermine him whenever possible. There is Lexie’s (Nikki Campbell) deteriorating health and Dr. Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) disappearance.
And there is the poisoned water on Smith Island, for which Johnny (Carson Boatman) is blamed, and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) wants to nail him. So which one explodes just before the weekend?
Tate Finds the Break Holly Has Been Waiting For
Holly (Ashley Puzemis) was poisoned by the arsenic-laced drugs, but when EJ tampered with the tests, it made it look like she was lying about not taking the pills by choice.
She’s trying to prove her innocence, but it’s Tate (Leo Howard) who comes through with the evidence she needs.
Alex and Stephanie Reach Another Crossroads Over Kelsey
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is torn between Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins), the mother of his newly discovered daughter, Kelsey, and Stephanie (Abigail Klein), his wife, who isn’t thrilled by any of it.
Stephanie is convinced Joy wants to steal her husband away. Alex is convinced Stephanie doesn’t want him to have a relationship with Kelsey. These two really need to learn to communicate better. So they try.
Abe Makes One Last Plea to Theo
Abe (James Reynolds) confessed to Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) that he conspired with EJ to keep Theo from becoming CEO of DiMera. Theo, who forgives his beloved NoNo Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) for being literally the most evil villain who ever lived, can’t forgive his dad for looking out for him.
So Abe apologizes again, giving Theo another chance to be self-righteous.
