Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, July 16, find Sarah furious that her sleuthing hasn’t turned up a smoking gun, while Marlena has concerns about Rachel’s progress. Plus, Cat has a sudden change of heart about EJ.
Key Takeaways
- Sarah complains to Brady.
- Holly needs someone to listen to her.
- Lexie fills in Kristen.
- Marlena keeps a promise.
- Cat pursues EJ.
Sarah and Brady Hit a Dead End
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) had a theory about Destiny and Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) poisoning. When all the pieces didn’t instantly fall into place, she got cranky. And she unloaded to Brady (Eric Martsolf) about it.
At the same time, Holly realizes no one believes that she hasn’t gone back to using drugs. Well, Tate (Leo Howard) says he does. But she’s already lied about drugs before. And Tate was the one who paid the price. So he’s kind of on the fence.
Kristen Gives Marlena Another Reason to Worry About Rachel
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) completely freaked out when he thought Lexie (Nikki Campbell) was dead — again. Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) doesn’t want to see her sister die, either. But she is definitely intrigued when she learns that Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton) has done a runner — and that EJ might be left holding the bag about the illegal drug they developed.
Anytime Kristen can hit EJ before he hits her, she takes advantage. Especially since she’s so worried regarding what EJ might do to Rachel (Lorelei Olivia Mote) as revenge for Kristen arranging for Sophia (Rachel Boyd) to kill Johnny (Carson Boatman).
She even asked Marlena (Deidre Hall) to step in. This makes Marlena suspicious about what Kristen plans for Rachel. It can’t be good.
EJ’s Softer Side Complicates Cat’s Mission
Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) knows her job is to bring down EJ. But she keeps remembering nice things about him. And she keeps seeing a side of him he doesn’t show others. Bringing him down is starting to seem harder and harder.
