Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, April 5 catch Sloan eavesdropping on Eric telling Stephanie what she should do about Everett…which gets Sloan thinking about her own situation.
Coming Clean
Sloan (Jessica Serfaty — did she just get married?) has made her peace with lying to Eric (Greg Vaughan) about where their precious bundle of joy, Jude, actually came from. She figured that she’d kept secrets before. What’s another five, six, seven decades?
But, when she hears Eric telling Stephanie (Abigail Klein) that she should forgive Everett (Blake Berris), no matter how terrible his past sins might turn out to be, she wonders if she can come clean…and still keep her husband.
Parents Day
Meanwhile, Jude’s real mother, Nicole (Arianne Zucker), has her hands full with the child she actually got to raise — well, we assume; Holly (Ashley Puzemis) wasn’t onscreen much, and then she aged a decade overnight.

Holly finally admitted she’d been lying about Tate (Jamie Martin Mann, who is off to new adventures) and how she ended up overdosing on New Year’s Eve. Nicole insists her daughter must be punished. Holly tries to convince her that all her days of suffering keeping her secret should be plenty. Not to mention, Tate will be mad at her — isn’t that punishment enough? Except that Tate can’t stop thinking about the girl who almost destroyed his life. Which suggests he won’t exactly be freezing her out.
All the News That’s Fit To Print
Chad (Billy Flynn) owns a newspaper. This is why he’s among the first to find out from Everett that Stefan (Brandon Barash) has been arrested. Everett, on the other hand, might be a crack reporter, but he doesn’t know that his divorce from Jada (Elia Cantu) was never finalized. Jada knows. But she doesn’t want to believe it. So she figures that convincing Rafe (Galen Gering) it isn’t true will make the whole mess go away.
