Secrets spilled all over Salem. Everett (Blake Berris) told Stephanie (Abigail Klein) he had a confession — he wasn’t happy being in the friendzone and by the end, they were sleeping together (no sex, literally sleeping) overnight. Marlena (Deidre Hall) sent Steve (Stephen Nichols) looking for John (Drake Hogestyn), who was out late alone. Steve found him and confessed that Konstantin (John Kapelos) knows about The Pawn, which threw John for a loop. Kate (Lauren Koslow) confronted Harris (Steve Burton) about Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) being missing, so he took her to a room at the Pub and reunited the mother and son. Finally, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Theresa (Emily O’Brien) played a game of Truth or Dare.

A panicked Paulina (Jackée Harry) sought help from Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) but eventually allowed her to call Chanel (Raven Bowens), who called Johnny (Carson Boatman), to come to support her. Leo (Greg Rikaart) spotted Stephanie leaving Everett’s, the latter tried to do damage control. Steve started to open up to Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) about the Konstantin (John Kapelos) threat but stopped short. Ava (Tamara Braun) grilled Wendy (Victoria Grace) on her intentions and then was annoyed by Stefan (Brandon Barash), who tried to get hot and bothered. Johnny gave Uncle Stefan a hard time about cheating on Gabi.

Johnny asked Chad to be his best man and got a lecture about how he shouldn’t drag Chanel into their awful family. This caused him to suggest to Chanel they postpone the wedding. Earlier, Paulina scolded Chanel about treating her with kid gloves as they planned her wedding. Xander (Paul Telfer) went looking for EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), thinking he was the mystery caller (refresh your memory on that here) but found Stefan, who he told his time as a criminal was over. Alex revealed his jealous side to Brady (Eric Martsolf), who told him to get over it. Celebrating their latest drug bust, Jada (Elia Cantu) worried about Harris not letting Ava go. They went to the Pub and everyone toasted Roman (Josh Taylor) for his years of service to the Salem Police Department.

Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) and Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) attempts for intimacy were interrupted by Leo, Melinda (Tina Huang), and Marlena, the middle one Sloan admitted to not thinking she was cut out to be a mom. Wanting to speed up the case, Lucas summoned Chad and Everett for an interview, which Harris walked in on. Earlier, Harris talks through his Ava feelings with Marlena. Brady solved Theresa’s work crisis, upsetting a fragile Alex. He got good advice from Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) but when he rejected her plea to return to Titan, she secretly planned her return and maneuvered Brady to help her.

Brady and Theresa interrupted John and Marlena’s evening and then took a walk down Memory Lane. There was an awkward dinner party for Xander, Sarah, Maggie, and Konstantin that ended with an insulted and angry Konstantin leaving without Maggie. He later met up with John and taunted him, with his card firmly in his hand. Stefan and Ava drowned their sorrows in alcohol and later in each other.
