Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, July 28, force EJ to consider where he went wrong. Well, technically, Marlena tells him everything he did wrong. And she wants him to feel bad about it. Plus, Holly and Tate manage to find their way back together.
Key Takeaways
- Marlena cautions EJ.
- Kate explains herself to Roman.
- Xander tells Sarah and Brady his theory.
- Holly forgives Tate.
Marlena Challenges EJ to Face the Consequences
The walls are closing in on EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) from every direction. There’s Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), there’s Holly (Ashley Puzemis), there’s Gwen (Emily O’Brien). Marlena (Deidre Hall) wants EJ to think about all the things he’s done wrong lately and to then make amends.
EJ didn’t ask for her opinion. He’d rather chat with Stefano’s portrait (Joseph Mascolo). It’s more validating. Like ChatGPT.
Kate Hopes Roman Can Forgive Her Betrayal
Kate (Lauren Koslow) admitted to Roman (Josh Taylor) that she’s the one who lured Johnny (Carson Boatman) into making a stupid decision. She’s sorry that his grandson is so incompetent.
And, OK, fine, she’s sorry that she did it, and she’s sorry she lied to Roman about it. But, really, in the great scheme of things, this is hardly the worst thing she’s ever done. So why is Roman acting like it is? He knew who he married. And if he didn’t, well, that’s on him.
Xander’s Theory Could Finally Clear Holly’s Name
Xander (Paul Telfer) remembered that he had left Holly’s bag unattended for a few minutes while showing Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) a video of Victoria. Based on that, Xander has decided that someone could have slipped pills into it.
Xander is not wrong. But he also has no evidence that it even happened, much less who could have done it.
Holly and Tate Find Their Way Back to Each Other
Nonetheless, Sarah and Brady (Eric Martsolf) are convinced. And since they are convinced, they tell Holly they no longer think she’s lying to them about being a drug addict. Tate (Leo Howard) is also on board. So he and Holly reconcile.
