Days of our Lives spoilers for Monday, February 17, prove that Johnny and Chanel really don’t know how to think things through.
Next on Days of our Lives
We are truly sympathetic to Chanel (Raven Bowens). After suffering one miscarriage, she is understandably nervous about having another one. And yet, she and Johnny (Carson Boatman) want to have a family. Now that Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) has told her this wouldn’t be a good time for her to try and get pregnant again, Chanel, naturally, is desperate for a baby—ASAP!
Isn’t it convenient that she and Johnny just ran into Tate (Leo Howard) and Sophia (Rachel Boys), who expressed how they’d like to give their unborn child up for adoption? Have Chanel and Johnny got a solution for you! Sure. That’ll work.
Except for the minor fact that Sophia’s mother would only consider giving her grandchild away if she could make sure he or she would go to a nice, Korean, Christian family. Chanel and Johnny aren’t Korean. They’re probably nominally Christian, as most people on soaps are, but Johnny WAS ONCE POSSESSED BY THE DEVIL. We don’t think Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) is going to be able to overlook that.

Smooth Sailing Ahead
Stephanie (Abigail Klein) admitted she wants to be with Alex (Robert Scott Wilson). Alex admitted he wants to be with Stephanie. Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) now knows about it, and while she isn’t thrilled, there isn’t much she can do about it. So everything is great. Yay! Everything will be great from now on, too. that’s the way it goes in Salem.
Meanwhile, Stephanie’s parents, who have been happily married for years (if you ignore the decades when he was presumed dead), are facing a different problem. Not with their relationship. With something else.
Celebration
Valentine’s Day was the previous week. Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Javi (Al Calderon) are celebrating now. Oh, Leo. He can’t do anything like anyone else, can he?
