A few weeks ago, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) wasn’t even sure she’d be able to carry to term. She’s had multiple miscarriages. But apparently, that issue has been miraculously hand-waved. Now she’s worried about any potential birth defects. Who wants to bet the kid will need a transplant of the Brady kind? That’s a tried-and-true way these types of secrets have spilled.

But Sloan is no match for Nicole. Nicole was been scheming since before Sloan was playing with her Lawyer Barbie dolls. She’ll figure out what her rival is up to and go running to Eric with the news. Giving no thought to how EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) might feel. But what else is new?

Because, let’s face it, Eric is…a little bit with the stupid. He’ll certainly never draw his own conclusions. And if Sloan keeps her mouth shut, and Nicole is too worried about her high-risk pregnancy to rock the boat, getting the truth out will likely fall to some third party. We nominate…Kate (Lauren Koslow).
She has literally nothing to do these days. She’s smarter than all the other players combined, and she’s Roman’s (Josh Taylor) wife, who truly cares about Eric. She’ll smell a rat — takes one to know one — and put all the pieces together. Giving no thought to how EJ might feel. But what else is new?
