When DAYS spoilers saw Melinda first sign up with the worst dating service, she was looking for a love match. When that didn’t work out, she decided she might as well see if she could trick blind date Li into confessing to criminal conspiracy to commit murder.

When that didn’t work out, Melinda (Tina Huang) and Li (Remington Hoffman) chatted about wine and eventually hit the sheets. Fans speculate that Madame District Attorney could actually fall for the guy she wants to put behind bars.

Melinda cares about her job much more than she could ever care about some booty call. She and Li can have a fun time in the sack, but it’s possible that she won’t be so overwhelmed that she forgets this could be her chance to convict a big-shot wheeler-dealer and raise her public profile for the next time she runs for office. We hear the Salem mayor’s race is wide open.

It doesn’t matter if Melinda falls for Li. Chances are that if Melinda can stick him behind bars, she will. Not just because Melinda believes in truth, justice, and the American way, but because Melinda knows that, if the tables were turned, Li wouldn’t hesitate to turn on her to get something he wanted. Like, oh, say, Gabi (Camila Banus). As long as Melinda doesn’t come first with Li, he will always be Public Enemy Number One with her. Which doesn’t mean they can’t have a little fun in the meantime.
DAYS Spoilers: Fall Colors
Of course, it’s fairly obvious that she’s already a goner. Melinda is clearly lonely, and she fell for the first pair of abs that smiled sweetly at her. She may have started off wanting to throw the book at Li, but all she wants to do now is throw herself at him. Farewell, Lady Justice!
