DAYS spoilers are not known for their subtlety, and the minute Eric Brady and Sloan Petersen first connected over their sad stories in jail, then went out to breakfast together to continue their odd couple bonding, we knew where this was going. And, we’ve got to admit…we’re intrigued.
DAYS Spoilers Speculation: Fresh Blood
How many times have Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) tried to make their relationship work? And how many times have they failed at it…spectacularly? Also, how many women in his age group is Eric related to? So many of them. When it comes to a new love interest, Eric was desperate to meet someone new.
Which is why Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) seemed like such a promising prospect. But then Eric managed to royally botch that. And he was back where he started — failing with Nicole…and related to almost everyone else. Sloan (Jessica Serfaty), as far as we know, isn’t related to him. And doesn’t have a past with him. Which are two incredible things in her favor.

Days of our Lives: Takes One To Know One
As Rafe Hernandez (Galen Garing) pointed out to Jada while they were both talking smack against his soon-to-be ex-wife, when Nicole wants something, she can be ruthless. Jada fell victim to that. But would Sloan?
Even at their first meeting, when Sloan rattled off all of Nicole’s many last names and observed that, like her, Nicole’s reputation preceded her, she made it clear that the love of Eric’s life didn’t intimidate her. Whenever Nicole has gone to war for Eric before, the women she was fighting never stood a chance. We have a hunch Sloan will be different. She can dish it out as well – if not better – than Nicole can take it. And it will be so much fun to watch her try.
