We thought past DAYS spoilers had proved that Jack Deveraux had already lived through the worst days of his lives (see what we did there?) when he was presumed dead and held prisoner and tortured. Nah. Jack’s worst DAYS are now. First, he found out that his long-lost daughter, Gwen Rizczech, was an even more terrible person than he’d suspected.
DAYS Spoilers Speculation
Then, his golden child daughter, Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller), was murdered (and the killer wasn’t even after her!). Jack’s (Matthew Ashford) wife, Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain), quite understandably fell apart, fell back on her pill habit, and, while hallucinating Ghost Abigail, ran her car over…Gwen (Emily O’Brien). Now Jennifer is off to rehab, and Jack is a broken man. Here’s what DAYS fans are predicting he’ll do next:
Last Girl Standing
Gwen is all Jack has left, which is why 44% of voters speculate that he’ll throw himself into helping her walk the straight and narrow from now on. She made a meaningful gesture when she promised not to press charges against Jennifer and kept Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) from blackmailing her dad. There might be some hope here, after all!

DAYS Spoilers Father Figure
Jack’s other pet project, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), is a newlywed who is going to start working at the paper. And what does he know about being a newlywed, never mind journalism? His wife almost divorced him less than 24 hours after they exchanged I Do’s! Xander needs Jack to teach him to be a good husband, 34% of you predict, as well as the news business. And Jack needs Xander to focus. So he doesn’t have to think about his own mess of a life.
Manny Diaries
Jack will babysit his grandkids, 22% predicted. Abigail is dead, and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is busy following Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) around now. Thomas and Charlotte are on their own. Pappy Jack might as well step in.
