Nicole (Arianne Zucker) comes face-to-face with two of the great loves of her life. Surely, Eric (Greg Vaughan) and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) haven’t put aside their differences for Nicole’s well-being. This is Salem, right? Perhaps it is all just a dream? Later, she ends up in the hospital getting the medical treatment that she needs with a loved one by her side.
Meanwhile, the law, Rafe (Galen Gering) and Jada (Elia Cantu) that is, has caught up with Leo (Greg Rikaart). Hopefully helping Nicole will count as brownie points and the Salem Police Department will be more lenient with the charming con man. Nevertheless, sitting at the station with cuffs on doesn’t seem promising for Gwen’s former bestie. The biggest mystery is where has Dimitri (Peter Porte) disappeared to?

EJ gives his new stepdaughter, Holly (Ashley Puzemis), an update, and Tate (James Martin Mann) is there to comfort the poor, distraught teen. Will she appreciate the gesture? Across town, Paulina (Jackée Harry) meets up with Stefan (Brandon Barash). Is she telling him all about EJ’s new position? Is he asking her to give Gabi (Camila Banus) a break?
Finally, Melinda (Tina Huang) has been busting her butt to help her new bestie Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) find a bundle of joy that she can call her own and please Eric at the same time. Now, she can make good on that promise but the question is at what expense? Has she burned all her bridges at the DA’s office? Has she crossed a line that she can never come back from?
