Despite insisting to Alexander Neil Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) that he currently doesn’t, and probably never could love Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) because he’s a mourning mourner who’s mourning his dead wife — who, in all fairness told him to seek love elsewhere — Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) actually does feel something for Stephanie. It might not be love — not yet anyway — but it is something, and this he chooses to share with the woman in question. But how will Stephanie, who’s actually growing rather fond of Alex, react to Chad’s confession?

Speaking of Alex…he’s firm atop Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty), you know what list, something that she chooses to share with him. How DARE he undress her, truss her up, blindfold her, and then scurry off, leaving her pleasureless?! Oh, and she’s also upset that he stole the material she was using to blackmail Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry).
Speaking of Paulina…she and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) are on tenterhooks to see whether they’ve won their respective races for governor and mayor. Will it be good news…or bad?

Days of our Lives Spoilers: Some Things Never Change
Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) stands accused of committing a crime, and not for the first time. Many fans can still remember when Julie was a delinquent prone to petty theft and telling lies, and some might remember the time she was put on trial for murdering the man who raped her — don’t worry, she was innocent of that. What’s particularly startling about this latest incident, is the fact that it’s Julie’s own step-grandson/nephew — don’t you love a gnarled family tree? — who’s come to put her on notice.
