Days of our Lives — The Week Ahead
Kate (Lauren Koslow) continues to feign blindness in order to get love and affection from Jake (Brandon Barash). Her mind games are messing with his head, and he is torn between two women he has loved in his life. Jake’s indecisiveness is causing a rift between himself and Gabi (Camila Banus) and the two get into a heated argument over Kate.
Sami (Alison Sweeney) is shocked to see EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) back in Salem, and his reasons for being back home are even more surprising to her. Sami doesn’t let EJ’s presence affect how she is starting to feel about Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) again, and the two share a close moment. Next time they should lock the door because Marlena (Deidre Hall) catches them in the act of being affectionate towards one another.
In a moment of honesty, Allie admitted to sharing a kiss with Chanel (Precious Way) to her grandmother Marlena. Marlena, in turn, responded by letting Allie know she’s okay with whatever makes her happy. Things don’t go quite as smoothly when Paulina (Jackée Harry) and Allie have an awkward first encounter. Paulina learns about the kiss the two women shared, and she is stunned. Hopefully, she will show her daughter just as much support as Allie received from Marlena.

Lucas decided to take his shot with Sami and asked for another chance. She was all for it except, you know, she’s married. Divorce him, Lucas said. Sami was considering. Well, until EJ showed up at the door.
Xander (Paul Telfer) took Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) matters into his own hands and tried to deter Snyder (Michael Lowry). His plan backfired, though. Instead of releasing Gwen from her obligations, Snyder threatened to turn her in to her daddy. Gwen lost it and Xander realized Snyder wasn’t playing games.
Chanel discovered Paulina’s plans to turn the square into a condo. She confronted her mom but Paulina turned it around. She said the blueprints were for another city’s project. Don’t worry, dear, your bakery idea is safe. Chanel bought it hook, line, and sinker.
