DAYS Weekly Recap

Situations took a turn for the overwhelming on Days of our Lives this week, and the problems kept piling on!

Victor had a stroke during an argument with Ciara, and he has a long recovery ahead… but he was well enough to make a confession about having put an innocent man in prison.

While that plot started seeing exposure, Lani hid her own away, moving in with JJ and swearing the man to secrecy as she worked on taking down Gabi.

Stefano had several schemes running, too, breaking Kayla’s heart, turning attention toward Gina, and calling Kristen’s loyalty into question, all as he vied to further his own aims. Now the pressure is on, and we’re set to see someone snap! Here are the spoilers!

DAYS Weekly Teasers

Several pieces come together as Gina reveals a plot that is intended to see her ending up with John, and Stefano ending up with Marlena.

What do you think? Post a comment!

She may need to move fast, though, especially after Rafe’s suspicions reach their breaking point, and he decides to take drastic action. Something similar could be said of Ciara because as Ben faces the prospect of the death penalty, they begin to plan a prison break.

A Look Ahead

There’s no doubt that the journey ahead will be an intense one, so make sure that you tune in for every moment. Also, while you’re watching, see if you can spot any of the subtle hints about where the story is going… and if you do, don’t hesitate to point them out. In fact, we want to hear any thoughts you might have at all!

Days of our Lives’s History

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime dramas in American history. It has outlasted other soap operas to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades’s worth of storylines has kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting, and soap operas are shrinking.

Bringing the Drama

DAYS is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
