DAYS Weekly Recap

Things started heating up on Days of our Lives this week, and it wasn’t long before they came to a boil! The news that Orpheus is alive shocked everyone, and finding out that he’s Evan’s father made everything worse… especially since baby David is still missing.

Things were a bit more positive for Xander – at least at first – after he proposed to Sarah, and she agreed to marry him.

All of that may come crashing down, though, now that Nicole has made strides toward proving Mickey’s identity: A swab from the child and a hair from Kristen have both been sent to the lab. Steam is certainly rising, and someone may end up being scalded. Here are the spoilers!

DAYS Weekly Teasers

Abigail’s return to Salem should be a happy development for Chad, but only causes him increasingly stress as he struggles to hide the truth from her.

Another truth comes ever closer to the surface when Nicole confides in Abe about her suspicions. Perhaps the biggest development of all will follow in SteVano’s wake, though, after he makes the announcement that he and Marlena are due to be married.

Days of our Lives’s History

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime dramas in American history. It has outlasted other soap operas to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades’ worth of storylines has kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting, and soap operas are shrinking.

Bringing the Drama

DAYS is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
