Days of our Lives Spoilers: Trouble Is Coming
According to the June 2, 2020, issue of Soap Opera Digest, Nicole and Eric are all set to wed and FINALLY live their happily ever after (the proposal is this week) when a surprise visitor shows up at their door.
Uncle Eric never thought his niece, a grown-up Allie Horton, would make it all the way home from Europe on her own, but remember, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) left Salem to try to tame his daughter while Sami attempted to nurse EJ back to health. (Did she ever manage to do that? We really never heard an update on that quest.)

“She’s got a secret that she ends up confiding in Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker), but something she doesn’t want her parents to know,” Head Writer Ron Carlivati told Digest. “It’s a really fun reintroduction for the character. We kind of thought of her in some ways as a mini-Sami, as someone that will come in and shake things up.
“Besides Eric and Nicole, it will ultimately pull Lucas and Sonny and Will and Rafe into her story.”
Alison Sweeney was also back on the Days of our Lives set before it shut down production due to the coronavirus pandemic, so we know Allie’s mother will be returning to town eventually, as well. Will it be this summer or in the fall? And will these two women who are supposed to be so much alike clash in a very Sami-like way?
