We’ve known for months this former soap (Another World) and sitcom star would be entering the Salem scene as a character named Paulina, and that Paulina would also have a daughter named Chanel (Precious Way). She will definitely be connected to Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) somehow, but we have yet to learn what the connection is. As of now, we just know she arrives in Salem next week and Jackee Harry can’t wait. Check out what she has to say in the tweeted Days of Our Lives preview promo below.

Days of our Lives History
DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more with newer pairs like Lani and Eli. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
Bringing the Drama
It is one of four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
