July is a month of weddings and DAYS is not about to disappoint with wedding number 2 on the horizon. This time Justin (Wally Kurth) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) are up, but their marriage may be a little ill-advised considering Kayla still carries a torch for her ex and Justin has only been widowed for a little over a year.
Well, this week, Justin gets a surprise when he goes to visit Adrienne’s grave and also overhears some information that might get him to rethink everything in his life. Kayla still walks down that short aisle in the Kiriakis mansion where apparently Will has been ordained to marry them, but what happens when she gets there? Days of our Lives History
DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more with newer pairs like Lani and Eli. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
Bringing the Drama
It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
