The Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, June 9, 2021 tease the return of a much-beloved anti-hero, who’s out to win back the love of his anti-heroine wife. And there’s also some prerequisite doom and gloom.

Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) has something to lay on Sami (Alison Sweeney), and it’s a plea to give their relationship another shot. After all, they’ve been in each other’s orbits since they were 16 years old, they share a son and a daughter, and the chemistry and love are still there.
To say that Sami is taken by surprise would be an understatement…especially since she only expected to talk with Lucas about proving what a tramp Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) really is.
But before she can fully contemplate her ex’s proposal, Sami’s called away by a knock at the door. And who should be standing on the other side but EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel)?!
That’s right, hubby’s back…and he wants to put forth some serious effort in regaining Sami’s love, affection, and trust. Here’s hoping he’s got a VERY good explanation for recalling that money he wired into Xander’s (Paul Telfer) account.

Holding Out For A Hero
And who said that chivalry was dead? Xander might not be Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) biggest fan at the moment, but he knows that she’s in trouble…and if Gwen is in trouble, then there’s every possibility that Jack (Matthew Ashford) will suffer in the long run – and Xander will not abide that.
So, it should come as no surprise that Xander puts on his scariest scowl and makes a beeline for Dr. Snyder (Michael Lowry) where he threatens him to leave Gwen be. Will it work?
A Sinner And A Saint
Will the truth really set Nicole free? Or will it merely lead to the dissolving of her and Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) marriage? Those are the questions that Nicole desperately needs answers to. It’s getting increasingly difficult to lie to big-hearted Eric and his handsome face.

Chanel (Precious Way) has a nasty habit of being in the wrong place, at the wrong time….though others would call her lucky, especially where thirst trap Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) is concerned.
However, the young woman might have just landed herself in some seriously hot water, since her snooping leads to a puzzling discovery. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
