Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, August 22 reveal the whole of Salem getting ready for John and Marlena’s long-awaited latest wedding! Everyone’s favorite couple is tying the knot — again — but it certainly won’t be without drama!
The Big Day
John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) have been married before, but this time around features a lot more drama and a lot fewer shoulder pads.
In addition to interminable pre-wedding jitters, Marlena’s been getting strange gifts — like the effigy doll wearing her dress from 1999 — and even stranger guests at her bachelorette party.
Of course, it didn’t help that John’s bachelor party featured shenanigans that threatened to put the kibosh on the whole affair.

Alas, that’s all in the past, and everyone in Salem is getting ready to watch these two make it official yet again.
But oh, woe! Marlena has a terrible dream the night before the wedding, and she takes that as a sign that maybe the duo shouldn’t be married after all!
Then, John gets himself into another pickle that nearly causes a wedding day disaster and has to rely on Valerie (Vanessa A. Williams) to get him out of the jam.
