Eric (Greg Vaughan) was destroyed when Nicole (Arianne Zucker) had to break his heart and leave him because mean Brady (Eric Martsolf) made her do it after she broke his heart too.
Eric moved on with Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), who was slowly able to get him to rejoin the world. While the two were happy, it wasn’t the same for Eric.
So when Jennifer told him the truth about why Nicole left, he was gone in a split second.
When he found Nicole and learned that she was married to Xander (Paul Telfer) and why, it seemed like he was destined to have his heart broken all over again. But wait: Now spoilers say that Eric and Nicole make love! Time to rejoice, Ericole fans!
