Freedom Is A Word For Nothing Left To Lose
Stefan (Brandon Barash) is in quite a pickle. The kind that starts with allowing yourself to be roped into a drug lord’s distribution scheme and ends with a failed assassination attempt on a cop. Sure, Stefan may have initially done it in order to get protection for Gabi (Camila Banus) in prison. But then he was also in cahoots with Ava (Tamara Braun) to protect her son.
And then he just needed to cover his own tracks with Harris (Steve Burton). The point is that Stefan has quite a bit to confess. Chad (Billy Flynn) may not want to hear it. But if a drunk Stefan has his way, Chad will have no say in the matter. Chad is stunned when a drunk and disheveled Stefan pays him a visit.
You Bet the Wrong Horse
Ava helped Clyde (James Read) escape from prison. Even Rafe (Galen Gering) was able to figure that out. Harris kept trying to defend his love. How far will he go? Too far, according to Jada (Elia Cantu).

Harris, dude, you’ve just redeemed your own reputation after that whole trying to kill Hope (Kristian Alfonso) debacle. Why do you want to jump out of the frying pan and into the fire? Especially for Ava. She’s not worth it, man. Stay out of it.

Paulina (Jackée Harry) is all better! Yay! That was a whole lot of worrying for nothing! It’s time to celebrate. Steve (Stephan Nichols) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) throw together a quick party.
There’s No Business Like Snoop Business
Leo (Greg Rikaart) has decided not to tell Nicole (Arianne Zucker) that Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) stole her baby. Because, you know, reasons…. Which means he needs some other salacious gossip for his column. Will he do some digging? Or just make stuff up? Either way, Salem will be a more miserable place because Leo is in it.
