Key Takeaways

  • JJ reaches out to Gwen.
  • Theo confronts Johnny.
  • Tate and Holly play matchmaker.
  • Julie’s date with Foster doesn’t go as expected.

What Does JJ Want With Gwen?

JJ (Casey Moss) reaches out to Gwen (Emily O’Brien). We don’t know what he wants, but the timing certainly makes us curious.

Gwen has had a lot going on lately. She went all the way to Alamania to save Leo (Greg Rikaart) from Dimitri (Peter Porte), only to end up a prisoner herself. She and Leo eventually escaped, but that doesn’t mean Gwen’s troubles are necessarily over.

Now her half-brother is reaching out. Is JJ simply checking in after everything Gwen has been through? Does he need something from her? Or is something else about to bring Jack’s (Matthew Ashford) children together? We’ll have to wait to find out.

Theo Has Something to Say to Johnny

Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) confronts Johnny (Carson Boatman). Johnny knew Lexie (Nikki Crawford) was dying and kept quiet because that’s what his aunt wanted. Unfortunately, Theo and Abe (James Reynolds) were left wondering where Lexie was and what was happening to her.

Theo eventually learned the truth, and now Johnny may have to answer for his role in keeping it from him. Johnny can explain that he was honoring Lexie’s wishes, but will that make Theo feel any better about what happened?

Tate and Holly Try Playing Cupid

Tate (Leo Howard) and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) have decided it’s time to help somebody else find love. Considering the twists and turns in their own relationship, we’re not entirely sure these are the two people we’d hire for the job.

Still, Tate and Holly have a match in mind. Will their surprise actually make two people happy, or are they about to learn why meddling in other people’s love lives is practically a full-contact sport in Salem?

Julie’s Date With Foster Takes a Turn

Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) goes on a date with Foster (Miles Anderson), but something happens that she wasn’t expecting. Will the surprise make Julie eager for another date, or will this budding relationship hit a snag?

Elsewhere, Aaron (Louis Tomeo) and Ari (Marissa Reyes) spend time with baby Trey. We’ll see what their time with the little one brings.
