Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, August 8, throw Alex a curveball as he’s forced to stand by Joy, while Stephanie reminds Kayla how much she doesn’t like what’s going on in her life. Plus, Leo and Gwen risk everything to escape.
Key Takeaways
- Joy gets bad news.
- Titan risks collapse.
- Leo and Gwen try to escape, as Javi attempts a rescue.
Alex and Stephanie are at Cross-Purposes
Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) just can’t catch a break, can she? First, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) almost shoots her. Then she gets in a car accident. Then she gets into another car accident.
And now comes even worse news. Is it about her family? Is it about Kelsey? Whatever it is, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) leaps into super-hero mode to be there for her, even as Stephanie continues telling Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) how much she is suffering. Skipping the part where she brings much of it upon herself.
Will the Kiriakis Boys Lose Everything?
Just a minute ago, Alex, Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), and Xander (Paul Telfer) were waltzing around the office, celebrating Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) giving them enough money to pay off the loan EJ bought.
But all is not sweetness and light. There’s a snag in their fool-proof plan. The company isn’t out of the woods yet, and if they don’t come up with a new solution, they’ll still have to give up everything.
Can Javi Save the Day?
Javi (Jacob Martinez) got Gus’s (Michael Ocampo) permission to fly off to Alamania to check on Leo (Greg Rikaart). And his instincts are good. Leo is currently being held prisoner, alongside Gwen (Emily O’Brien), by Dimitri (Peter Porte), who wants to force Leo to fall back in love with him.
This is not a sane man. Leo and Gwen are looking for a way out. Will Javi be the lifeline they’ve been praying for?
