Soaps Stars Celebrate Valentine’s Day With Their Real Life Loves

By day, soap stars on Days of our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless, and General Hospital play out epic sagas of love and romance. In cases of art imitating life, many of those performers are just as romantic off-camera.

Several actors posted tributes featuring their significant others. Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy, B&B) posted a series of photos with her husband Elan Ruspoli set to music on her Instagram page. “A love like this,” the two-time Daytime Emmy-winner wrote.

“Happy Valentine’s Day, Mrs. Lawson. The best partner I ever could have found,” posted Mark Lawson (ex-Dustin, GH) along with a photo from the couple’s wedding day.

“#Valentines 4 life,” posted Brandon Barash (Jake, DAYS) along with a photo of himself, daughter Harper, and fiancée Isabella ‘Bella’ Devoto. It’s clear that Barash may feel that every day is Valentine’s Day. Last November, he shared a photo of him lovingly gazing at Devoto. “I find it impossible not to look at her this way,” Barash wrote.

Other soap stars paid tributes to love on this annual holiday. “I just wanted to wish you a very happy Valentine’s Day,” posted Jess Walton (Jill, Y&R). “Valentine’s Day is a very important holiday because it celebrates love and what could be better? Love to you all.” Walton shared on Twitter a photo of her and her late husband John James. “John, my forever Valentine,” the actress wrote, adding a heart emoji to her post.

“Happy Valentines to all you wonderful people!” posted Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan). “And a special kiss for my honey @dom472522 [Dominique Zoida] … I love you so much!! #happyvalentinesday❤️.”

Soap hopper Gina Tognoni (ex-Phyllis, Y&R; ex-Dinah, Guiding Light; ex-Kelly, One Life to Live) posted a flashback photo of herself and her husband Joseph Chiarello. “Happy Valentines to my Heart,” Tognoni wrote. “You’re my gift every single day!!! This picture was taken when we were dating. I’ve been loving you more ever since…”

Daniel Hall, formerly Scott on Y&R, shared a special shoutout for the loved ones in his life and to the ones he has yet to meet! “Valentines [Day] to me is about letting someone know u appreciate them all year round today,” Hall posted.
