Days of Our Lives (DOOL) star Mary Beth Evans is most famous for portraying Salem’s Kayla Brady, one half of the soap supercouple Steve and Kayla Johnson, who dominated the show’s storylines during the 1980s and are now enjoying a resurgence.
Kayla Brady Johnson is one of the six Brady children in Salem. Kayla is the daughter of the late Shawn Brady and Caroline Brady.
She is the sister of Roman and Kimberly Brady, the half-sister of Bo Brady, as well as the sister of adopted brothers Frankie and Max Brady. She has been married three times; once to Jack Deveraux and three times to Steve Johnson.
Evans was born in Pasadena, California and grew up in Orange County, California. The actress has also appeared on the television soaps General Hospital (as Katherine Bell), As the World Turns (as Sierra Esteban), and Rituals (as Dakota).

But, did you know that the Emmy Award-winning actress bakes a mean pie? In fact, in 2005, Evans became an entrepreneur when she started Mary Beth’s Apple Pie Company. She used a modified version of an old family recipe. The company went on to sell more than 3,000 pies on QVC, as well as mini pie versions on Williams Sonoma’s site.
