Soap veteran Vincent Irizarry (ex-Deimos, Days of Our Lives) has played a publishing chief, a doctor, a singer, a journalist, and other professions over the course of his career in daytime. In real-life, he has an equally interesting line of work (in addition to acting) as a 2nd Level WSET (Wine and Educational Trust) Certified Sommelier.

A few years later, he was recruited by Soap Opera Digest to join the magazine’s west coast staff, eventually becoming the publication’s West Coast Editor.
He has written for a variety of publications about soap operas and television including Variety, TV Insider, TV Guide Magazine, TV Insider Magazine, AOL TV, TODAY, Daytime TV (Australia), TV Soap (Australia), AARP, and Us Weekly.
