It looks like it might take as long to recover for JJ as it will be for Theo on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), although for JJ the injuries are emotional.
According to the Jason47 DAYS website, Camila Banus spoke of scenes discussing suicide with JJ in a live Instagram chat last week.
JJ has been despondent since he shot Theo thinking he was an armed criminal last month. Abe wonders if the young cop would have shot his son had he been white and of course JJ insists what he did was not race-based, but that does not alleviate his guilt.
The incident has forced him to break things off with Theo’s sister, Lani, and opened up his relationship with Gabi once again, which was never really resolved early this year.
JJ has already had a troubled past as a drug addict and had a very hard time when he learned his father raped his Aunt Kayla many years ago.

There’s been no confirmation that JJ does indeed try to kill himself, as Banus just said they discuss the topic of suicide. It does look like DAYS can go in that direction. If it does, this can be a very important story, indeed.
