Rope Untied! Days of Our Lives Fans Feel THIS Way About Breakup

Days of Our Lives 1/22/2019Days of Our Lives

Rafe and Hope have been through a ton on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) to be together, including a homicidal ex on Hope’s part. But lately, it’s seemed like Hope has been pushing Rafe aside, not wanting to commit to a wedding date even though he’s quite eager.

Relations were already strained for that reason so when Rafe (Galen Gering) took off from Salem to help Sami (Alison Sweeney) down in Memphis, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) was not happy.

After all, she needed him back home as all hell broke loose.

Theo (Kyler Pettis) was shot and their fellow cop JJ (Casey Moss) pulled the trigger. Hope had no one to lean on during this horrible time for her family and close friends.

She certainly let her displeasure be known to Rafe.

Now she’s lost her job as police commissioner and things go from bad to worse for Rafe and Hope – to the point that these two will be having a pretty harsh breakup any moment.

Soap Hub asked how you feel about Rope splitting – and the vote was closer than you might think.

He’s No Bo
After over 2,000 votes were tallied, 59% of you believe that this breakup is for the best. You’ve tried to care about Rafe and Hope as a couple, but her once-in-a-lifetime love with Bo (Peter Reckell) is still too fresh in your minds. How in the world could poor Rafe be expected to compete against that?!

Perhaps some time away from each other will bring Hope the clarity to she needs to move forward with her life. She may think she needs to move on, but it doesn’t seem like she’s given her heart permission to do that just yet.

They’re On A Break
For 41%, you can’t believe your favorite couple has split and you refuse to believe it will be forever. Perhaps they both just need some space to get perspective. Maybe when it seems that Rafe has moved on, Hope will come to her senses about how much she really loves him. You want to see her win him back!

Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
