Robin Strasser Sets The Record Straight About Her Days of Our Lives Role

With news that daytime legend Robin Strasser is coming to Days of Our Lives, rumors and speculation were bound to start and now the actress wants to set the record straight.

There were some reports that Strasser, best known for her role as Dorian Lord on One Life to Live,  is on contract with DAYS, as well as rampant rumors that she’d be playing Vivian Alamain, a character who was presumed dead by Salemites last year, but who fans know is still very much alive.

Now, Strasser has taken to Twitter to clear up any confusion.

“Hello-I AM Robin Strasser & I can tell you I am NOT on contract! I was lucky & honored to have been asked to GUEST on #DaysOfOurLives I HAD A FABULOUS TIME in #Salem-but my FANGIRL kicked in hard-it has a small hair/make-up room-filled w/so many DAZZLING.”

Strasser added if fans want to know something about her, they can just use social media to ask, and if she’s allowed to give an answer, she will.

“[M]aybe this is where we remind people that not everything they read on Social Media is necessarily true…ASK me if you want to vet facts! If I can-I’ll tell you…if I can’t: la di dah I won’t.”

So, while we still don’t know who Strasser will play, we DO know it’s only a short-term gig. And, as soap fans, we also know it will be amazing to see this veteran actress back where she belongs on our TV screens.
