On the May 27 episode of Days of our Lives, Ari offered Aaron a shoulder to cry on — and someone to play video games with — just before she found out that Liam seems to have left town with no forwarding address. Will Aaron be Ari’s rebound? Or could it turn into something more — just in time for Liam to return?
Key Takeaways:
- Ari is supporting Aaron
- Ari has lost Liam
- Will it be Ari and Aaron?
A Friend in Deed
First, Aaron (Louis Tomeo) found out he was the father of Sophia’s (Rachel Boyd) baby, then he signed the boy over to Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman). Now, Aaron has to process Sophia’s death. That’s a lot for a kid who, a year ago, only cared about playing lacrosse, to deal with. Luckily, Ari (Vico Escorcia) is there to be a pal. She suggested they hang out, play some video games, and take Aaron’s mind off… everything.
Which Way Did He Go?
Ari only sees Aaron as a friend. Liam (Hank Horthrup) is the one who has captured her romantic interest. Except Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) just told Ari that Liam has left town, and lies that she has no idea where he’s gone, or why. (Julie knows. She helped Gabi [Cherie Jimenez] make it happen.) Will Ari rebound towards Aaron? And will an at-loose-ends Aaron reciprocate?
Third Party
We can see Ari and Aaron becoming a couple (what would their ship name be? Aari? Ar-Aron?). Just in time for Liam to return. And fill Ari in on why he left in the first place. She’ll be furious with Julie. And with her mother. And especially at Aaron, if it turns out he found out before she did—and didn’t let Ari know. Meanwhile, as a side note, what is it about Ari and young guys with kids?
