We Saw It Coming
Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) has had an obvious crush on Gabi (Cherie Jimenez). Because he thinks he’s so smart, he also thinks he’s been doing a great job hiding it. He hasn’t. Even when Theo was dating Jada (Elia Cantu), it was obvious his mind was on Gabi. Now, Gabi is with Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), and Theo is acting like he wants nothing more than to talk shop with her. We aren’t buying it.
Self-Esteem
Considering how Theo acted with Jada — mansplaining everything to her whether she asked him or not — and how he behaves with pretty much everyone else, we’re sure he thinks he’s the better choice for Gabi. How could anyone be better than him, after all? Theo prides himself on being logical and rational. Logically and rationally speaking, Theo would be a much better match for Gabi — in his logical and rational opinion. We can’t wait to see the tantrum he throws when Gabi doesn’t instantly agree with him.
Staying Put
Personally, we think Gabi and Philip have worked out so much better than we ever could have expected. They seem to get each other, support each other, and, most importantly, forgive each other. Theo has never expressed much skill in any of those qualities. We’re looking forward to seeing more of Gabi and Philip. And we can only hope that Theo and Gabi remain friends… and nothing more.
