On the June 8 episode of Days of our Lives, Sarah hired Brady to help her figure out why Destiny died. At the same time, EJ and Dr. Rolf discussed the status of their miracle drug and how they can see what’s going wrong with it. We’ve been watching soaps for a long time. We know what this means….

Key Takeaways:

  • Sarah and Brady are investigating Destiny’s death
  • Lexie is getting weaker
  • Rolf and EJ need subjects to test their drugs on

Guilty Party

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) felt awful when Destiny (Sarah Bartholomew) practically died in her arms. Especially after Destiny came to Sarah for medical help, and Sarah told her to sleep it off. Sarah keeps wondering what she missed. She got even more suspicious when Sarah found out that Destiny’s sister, Clea, died under very similar circumstances two years earlier. And that Destiny took some old painkillers. Sarah asked Brady (Eric Martsolf) to do some digging. He’s a private eye now, you know.

Meanwhile, On the Other Side of Town

Lexie (Nikki Crawford) is growing weaker by the day. EJ (Dan Feuerriegel, who recently praised the fans behind his comic book success) is terrified that his sister will die—again—like the rats they’ve been running experiments on. Rolf (Richard Wharton) promised to up his research. Rolf is all about the research. And we know he doesn’t hesitate to use human beings as test subjects. What if two years ago, he had been experimenting on Clea? And then Destiny accidentally took the drugs, which killed her sister.

Too Close for Comfort

If Rolf is testing on human subjects and Sarah and Brady find out… that won’t be good for Sarah and Brady. EJ can be ruthless. Rolf even more so. They seem willing to do whatever it takes to make sure Lexie doesn’t lose her miracle. Will getting rid of Sarah and Brady dovetail with the need for new people to experiment on?
