On the June 3 episode of Days of our Lives, Xander played house with Sarah and Victoria — literally — ignoring a text from Gwen, who wanted to get together. Oh, he’s also sleeping with Kristen. How long can Xander keep juggling three women?
Key Takeaways:
- Xander still loves Sarah
- Xander has a use for Gwen
- Xander is in a situationship with Kristen
Loves Labors Lost
Xander (Paul Telfer, who spoke about his character’s recent fling with Gwen) signed divorce papers. Xander told Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) he’s accepted that she’s moving on with Brady (Eric Martsolf), and he’ll be moving on with his life, as well. Xander is obviously still in love with Sarah and, when given the chance to spend time with her, Victoria, and Victoria’s toy castle, Xander will give up anything — including the chance to canoodle with Gwen (Emily O’Brien).
Love the One You’re With
Xander is content to sleep with Gwen. Especially now that she’s newly wealthy. He thought they were just friends with benefits, but then she started getting kind of clingy. Gwen knows too much about EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and other Salem scandals for Xander to dismiss her completely. But he’s going to have to start pulling back… without making it look like he’s pulling back.
Third Party
Gwen has already been dumped by Xander for Sarah before. She realizes Sarah is the love of his life, and while she doesn’t like it, she gets it. If Xander were to dump her for Sarah again, she’d be mad, but she’d also kind of understand. But Kristen (Stacy Haiduk, who spoke about balancing her character’s rage with what lies beneath) is a whole other ballgame. If Xander were to dump Gwen — and she found out it was for Kristen, Gwen would be out for blood. Which makes us really curious how Xander thinks he’s going to juggle all these women… without pissing all of them off. Like, deadly pissed off.
