On the June 24 episode of Days of our Lives, Theo complained to Gabi about how his fiancée, Claire, cheated on him when they lived in South Africa. Theo has been very unlucky in love since he returned to Salem. We have three suggestions for what he might want to do to fix that.
Key Takeaways:
- Theo needs to stop mansplaining
- Theo needs to stop being self-righteous
- Theo needs to accept responsibility
Talk Less, Smile More
On Theo’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) first date with Jada (Elia Cantu, who has announced her departure at DAYS), he lectured her. On Theo’s second date with Jada, he apologized for lecturing her last time, then lectured her some more. Theo lectures his parents, his friends, his aunts and uncles, his cousins, and his colleagues. Trust us, Theo, that’s not the best way to create sparks. Listening is always a good skill to use.
I’m Right, You’re Wrong
Theo always thinks he’s right. He also thinks he knows why people do what they do, and he not only yells at them for what they’ve done but also tells them why, and he doesn’t want to hear their opinions on the subject. He didn’t like how Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) apologized to him, and he refused to admit that what he really didn’t like was that she wasn’t into him.
Never Forgive, Never Forget
Theo expects everyone to forgive him on the rare occasion when he might be less than perfect. But if anyone does something Theo doesn’t approve of, he never forgives them. Ever. They should have known better than to upset him, and who cares that they didn’t mean to? That’s no excuse. Except when Theo does it. Then they should apologize to him for making him do something so terrible. How is he supposed to connect with someone if he expects everyone to be perfect?
