First, Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) fans were just thrilled to have Will back. The amnesia was a bit of a bummer, but merely having Will return to Salem was enough.
However, now that he’s moved back and gotten to know his family, friends… and husband again, is it time for Will (Chandler Massey) to get his memory back? Almost 9,000 viewers weighed in.
Who’s Who?
Enough is enough, huff 87% of you. Will getting to know Sonny (Freddie Smith) again was cute, as is his flirtation with Paul (Christopher Sean), but now both relationships feel shallow. The only way for them to deepen – no matter which couple you’re shipping – is for Will to remember his complicated, messy relationships… with both of them.
Once he remembers what he and Sonny shared, Will will be better equipped to make a rational decision about whether he wants to follow his attraction to Paul, or go back to the man he once loved enough to marry.
It will also make it easier for Sonny to put aside his feelings for Will and move on – if Will remembers Sonny… and still doesn’t want him back.

Finally, Arianna deserves a Daddy who remembers her. Right now, he’s more of a doting uncle, not a father. Will needs to get back into the swing of things. Won’t somebody think of the children?
Keep It Going
Hitting the reset button is fun, argue a dissenting 12%. Will and Sonny were getting stale. They were either happy, or Will was cheating. Why would anybody want to remember that?
Plus, if Will regains his memory, he’ll remember the guilt he felt about cheating on Sonny with Paul. And that will color both of his relationships. This Will is more grown up and mature than the one who was “killed,” and if his memory comes back, he might revert. Nobody wants that.
