In the November 2 episode of Days of our Lives, Stephanie was given proof that supported her theory that Joy was lying about being paralyzed. Stephanie confronted Joy, who was with Alex, and she ended up creating more of a problem for herself and her marriage.
Key Takeaways
- Phillip gave Stephanie some key intel on Joy.
- Alex and Joy’s Halloween night with Kelsey took a turn.
- Stephanie busted Joy, and her marriage may suffer.
Philip and Stephanie Chat
Since Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) was spending Halloween with Kelsey (Lena Chase and Mira Chase) and Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins), Stephanie (Abigail Klein) went to Small Bar. After all, she can’t be near Kelsey, so it was either the bar or spending the night miserable at home alone.
Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) showed up and immediately helped cheer Stephanie up. They talked about Xander (Paul Telfer) before Stephanie revealed Joy had gotten feeling back in her legs.
When Stephanie spilled that she felt guilty for thinking Joy had faked her paralysis and how she thought Joy had done it, Philip admitted Joy had taken muscle relaxers. Philip explained that Joy had received muscle relaxers from her father, and that Joy told him it was because of an old injury.
Stephanie Has It Out With Joy and Alex
Once Stephanie realized she was right about Joy, she made a beeline for Horton Town Square. Joy freaked out, crying at Alex that Stephanie was too close to Kelsey, but Stephanie didn’t care and snapped that Joy was a fraud.
Alex watched as Stephanie reshared everything Philip said. Stephanie felt very vindicated, as she believed she proved her theory right.
However, Joy whined like usual, as she insisted that she just got the pills after she left the hospital. Stephanie gave her props for a “Daytime Emmy-worthy” performance, while Alex simply stood there being uncomfortable.
Joy Was Busted, but Stephanie Could Pay The Price
Even though Stephanie was relishing in her win, Alex didn’t take her side or believe her instantly. Instead, he offered to take Joy home and then have a talk with his wife.
The problem was that Kelsey was spending the night with Alex, so Stephanie couldn’t be near her husband until the next day. Joy now has plenty of time to plead her case and turn on the waterworks to convince Alex that Stephanie’s accusations are wrong.
Alex doesn’t want to have to choose between his daughter and his wife. Stephanie gave him proof that he will have to do just that because she knows Joy has lied about her paralysis.
Exposing Joy was supposed to bring a sense of relief, vindication, and satisfaction to Stephane. What happened instead was that Joy cried and Alex wouldn’t listen to Stephanie right then. It wasn’t the win she thought it would be when she proved what Joy had done.
Stephanie isn’t wrong either, but Alex doesn’t know that, and he doesn’t seem too keen on believing in or standing by his wife. Alex seems to have more of a blind loyatly to Joy thank to Stephanie and it’s not just becasue of Kelsey.
Could this be the final straw for Stephanie in her marriage?
