On the Tuesday, September 1 episode of Days of our Lives, half of Salem took turns blaming EJ for a variety of sins, some of which he deserved, some of which they just would like him to be guilty of. Usually, soap fans know what this means: There’s a murder mystery afoot! But EJ just got shot last April. We’re not heading down that road again so soon… are we?

Salem Is Officially Fed Up With EJ…AGAIN

The Kiriakises, from Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) to Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) to Alex (Robert Scott Wilson), are furious about EJ taking over their company, and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) is mad at EJ for stealing Gabi Chic designs.

You Can’t Spell Déjà Vu Without EJ
Usually, on a soap, this means one thing: Someone is going to try and kill EJ — and everybody mentioned above will be a suspect. Not that we have anything against soap whodunits. Some of them are classics!
But the reason we’re not looking forward to it here is that EJ was just shot last April, and he remembered that Rachel (Lorelei Oivia Mote) did it last August, exactly a year ago. Been there, done that. Not looking forward to a rerun this soon.
