The DAYS spoilers recap for Thursday, September 29, 2022, features Abigail Deveraux DiMera giving Chad DiMera what she denied her mother — much-needed closure. At least one of her loved ones is at peace.
DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is in a bad way. Enter a vision in white — his wife, Abigail (Marci Miller), to be precise. She praised him for (finally!) seeing that (some form of) justice was served, admonished him for being so down in the dumps — has he forgotten that there are two children in need of parenting? — and encouraged him to buck up and even open himself up to the possibility of gaining a new Mrs. Chad DiMera.

Chad accepted Abby’s command, copped to being a bit of a hands-off pop, and laughed off the idea of getting remarried — he just couldn’t imagine being happy with anyone other than the ghostly woman standing before him. And he couldn’t imagine a day going by without thinking of her.
Luckily, he won’t have to. Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) has his mother’s laugh; Charlotte (Olivia and Oakley Rondou) her beautiful, soulful eyes. They’ll be reminders of, and a testament to, the love that he and Abigail shared.
DOOL Recap: Singing Praises
Though he’d hoped to be able to convince Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) that Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) was all that and a bag of chips, Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) struck out. The songbird already had a fascinating, charismatic man in her life — he’s name is Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), don’t ya know — so she’s good. Thank you very much.

Days of our Lives Spoilers Recap: Life Goals
Speaking of Stefan…he’s got his sights set squarely on regaining his shares in DiMera Enterprises — which EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) gleefully helped him accomplish — gaining a divorce from Gabi Herandez DiMera (Camila Banus) — to which she objected only a little — and winning Chloe’s heart. To that latter end, he went and bought his ex several gifts and a big bouquet of flowers. Grand gestures are always welcome.
DOOL Recap: Confrontation Station
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) has slept on Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) sofa for two nights now, and she’s decided that that is more than enough. He needs to get gone and be sharpish doing it.
Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) spoke up for Johnny, which of course, meant that she was still pining away for him; Chanel set Allie straight real quick on that score but still had to say farewell to her former hubs.
DAYS Spoilers Recap: Swallowing Pride
Having decided that it would behoove him to play nice with his son and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), EJ invited the duo — whom he still believes are knocking boots — to move back into the DiMera stronghold. They agreed to think about it. Until then, it’s back to the Salem Inn.
