The DAYS recap for Thursday, November 3, 2022, sees a former couple taking an unconscious stab at getting their romance back on track. It was a dismal failure, naturally.
DAYS Recap Highlights
In this episode, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez No Longer DiMera (Camila Banus) edged closer together and the walls began to close in on Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) even though he remains unaware. Elsewhere, Chloe Lane accepted a promotion, Alexander Neil Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) pushed Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) out of their comfort zones — and into each other’s arms — and Susan Banks got the lowdown on the lowdown dirty trick that her baby boy may or may not have pulled. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Days of our Lives Recap: Taster’s Displeasure
After catching sight of Gabi poised to taste test wedding cakes all by her lonesome, Stefan insisted on joining her and making a pointed comment on the predicament; Gabi didn’t thank him for doing either.
Talk turned to the exes’ less-than-conventional love story, and a recap was summarily provided: he framed her for a murder committed by the mentally ill woman he was obsessed with, she, in turn, endeavored to woo and wound him — emotionally, that is — but wound up falling head over heels. Also, there was some ridiculousness about a wedding cake that brought everything full circle because, wouldn’t you know, the exact same flavor sat before them.
Stefan took a big forkful, then fed Gabi a piece; though it shouldn’t have been, it was a sexually charged, palpable, scene. Li happened upon the two and made sure to break up the momentous moment. Gabi then got down to the business at hand, but it was clear that Stefan wasn’t far from her mind.
DOOL Recap: The Plane Truth
At DiMera Enterprises, Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) made quite the impression on EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), and even managed to charm him into giving her access to information that she shouldn’t really have, namely Li’s usage of the company jets and any and all related materials.
The flight manifestos didn’t offer much in the way of a smoking gun — as if Li would be dumb enough to fly Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) on any plane that wasn’t private — but Wendy did notice something incriminating: her brother had requested the names of all the pilots who’d left the company within the semi-recent past. Now why would he want to go and do a thing like that?
DAYS Recap: A Picture’s Worth A Thousand Words
Over at Basic Black, Alex continued to talk up his idea that Nicole and Eric should serve as the cover models for Bella magazine’s relaunch; neither one was wholly convinced, especially when Alex offered to step in as cameraman, but when the exec suggested merely taking a few test shots of the pair before a final decision was made, they couldn’t help but say, yes! After all, if nothing else, it would be a good laugh.
Days of our Live Recap: Secret Keeper
After the spirits got in touch and let her know that Johnny was indeed plotting against his daddy, Susan insisted on getting some kind of an explanation, and Johnny was more than happy to provide it.
After being apprised — Johnny’s convinced that EJ ordered mean, mean, mean Dr. Rolf to condition Stefan to hate Gabi — Susan struggled with what to do next. On the one hand, if EJ really was guilty of such a heinous act, she wanted to right the wrong — nobody should be forced to go through life without their one true love. On the other hand, EJ is her baby, and she neither wants to believe the worst in him nor see him harmed in the course of Johnny’s investigation.
Unluckily for Johnny, his ruse might already be rumbled, seeing as how EJ somehow managed to hear the tail end of his and Susan’s clearly conspiratorial conversation.
DOOL Recap: Win Some, Lose Some
It’s all change for Chloe. First, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) kicked her to the curb, and now she’s accepted an offer to join DiMera corporate. She’s pretty pleased, about the job that is; the whole Brady situation still has her pretty bummed.
