Days of our Lives Recaps: Monday, September 5
In the hopes of clearing his name and getting Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) to finger his actual assailant, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) disguises himself as a nurse and infiltrates his former hubby’s hospital room… Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) coerces Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty) into making contact with Leo and arranging a rendezvous; both are put out when they arrive at Leo’s hotel and learn that he’s done a runner.
Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) installs Alexander Neil Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) as Titan’s interim CEO; Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) drafts the press release… Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) finds a bottle of pills in Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux’s (Cady McClain) purse. Jennifer reveals that she’s been struggling with her sobriety; she bins the temptation but eventually retrieves it.
DAYS Recaps: Tuesday, September 6
Leo succeeds in convincing Sonny that he’s being framed for the attack on him; Sonny allows Leo to slip away undetected… Jennifer is put out to learn that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) hired a lawyer to represent Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien)… Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) are married in the Horton living room with Jack and Jennifer as witness and Maggie serving as officiant. Gwen’s presence briefly mares the happy occasion.
DOOL Recaps: Wednesday, September 7
Stephanie stuns Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry) with recent polling data. Turns out Joe Public would rather Paulina enter the race for governor; Abe and Paulina decide that she should do just that.

Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) takes Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) to task for their cowboy antics… Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall), Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) all experience the same onset symptoms of a mystery malady; they’ve been poisoned by Milo Harp, alias Orpheus (George DelHoyo)!

Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) proposed to Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus)… Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) ordered Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) to awaken Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) from his medically induced coma posthaste; Rolf obliges; Kristen sends Stefan on his merry way to Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) suggests holding a memorial ceremony for Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash); Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) is touched. Johnny sets about rounding up guests. Stefan appears before a stunned Ava.
DOOL Recaps: Friday, September 9
Ava insists that she’s seen Jake for a second time; Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and his brother EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) are incredulous… Johnny calms Ava, talks her out of decamping back to Jake’s apartment above the garage, and pulls her in for a kiss… Gabi accepts Li’s proposal… Kristen is enraged when she fails to find Stefan in Chloe’s presence… Stefan and Gabi come face-to-face!
