Though he’d rather see Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) imprisoned for her fraud, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) acquiesces to Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) fervent pleas-cum-emotional blackmail and instead banishes her from Salem… Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) halted their lovemaking… Alexander Neil Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) joined Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) for a spot of lovemaking… Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty) put the screws to Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry).

As Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) next of kin, Vivian Alamin signs his interest in DiMera Enterprises over to Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash). Stefan announces to Gabi that he plans to initiate divorce proceedings. Gabi makes an impassioned plea that tees up a flashback to better days; Stefan is affected… Post-threesome, Alex, Chanel, and Allie discuss the former’s interest in Stephanie.
Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) arrives in Salem; Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) puts her off. Wendy resolves to make a meeting happen between herself and Stefan; she’s forced to settle for Johnny… Paulina fills Chad and Stephanie in on Sloan’s blackmail attempt.

Alex takes Stephanie to task for bedding Chad only to learn that the pair weren’t intimate… Johnny and Wendy form an alliance… Paulina and Chanel discuss the incident that Sloan and her client are holding over their heads… Li pointedly reveals the part he played in Stefan’s resurrection and conditioning. As a result, EJ is forced to keep him on at DiMera Enterprises and forgo his plan to rule the roost with Stefan by his side; Stefan is chagrined to be the odd man out.

Orpheus (George DelHoyo) taunts John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) with the aid of a cheap, flower shop orchid… Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) proposes to Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow); Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) officiates the wedding by the bride’s sick bed; Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) acts as a witness… Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) suggests that she and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) should call it quits…for Rachel Black’s (Finley Rose Slater) sake.

Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) offers Brady some quid pro quo: if he’ll dump Chloe and play happy families with her and Rachel, she’ll hand over the cure for what ails Marlena, Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), and Kate; Brady agrees. The lifesaving serum is delivered to the hospital but John, wary of its origin prepares to smash it… Joey Johnson (Tanner Stine) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) huddle around Kayla.
