There is only one Bo Brady on Days Of Our Lives! Well, no more than two, for sure. In between the Peter Reckell years, there was Robert Kelker-Kelly, who was also super popular, in pairings with both Carly (Crystal Chappell) and Lisa Rinna’s version of Billie.

But Reckell is the one who first sparked with Hope (Kristian Alfonso), and the one fans preferred in the end. But if they adjusted to one recast in the early 1990s, could they adjust to another? The verdict according to almost 9,000 of you:

Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing, Baby
Nope, 65% of the audience didn’t even need any time to think it over. They know how they feel. There is only one Bo Brady. That other guy was an impostor. Fine for when his Fancy Face was presumed dead, but a pale imitation once she returned.

And he’s the only one you’ll accept for a reunion now. Hope has been very lonely, as relationship after relationship — Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove), Rafe (Galen Gering), Ted (Gilles Marini) — has imploded spectacularly.

She is a one-woman man, and that man is Bo Brady. So stop playing with us already, and bring back Original Recipe Bo. Ciara (Victoria Konefal) will even be willing to give up his motorcycle for the cause!

Forward Momentum
Hope has been lonely, 35% of you concur, and it’s unfair to ask her to wear widow’s weeds for the rest of her life just because an actor has closed the door on one aspect of his career.

Hope needs a love life, and if it has to be Bo, then Bo can be played by someone else. Kelker-Kelley is the obvious choice, but he seems to have retired, too. So bring on another hot, sexy, stubbled actor. And let the magic begin all over again! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
