Wendy Shin has been popular since she first set foot on Days of our Lives (and even Beyond Salem – see what we did there?). She’s got at least two solid romantic options that we can see, and potentially more. But which man is truly the right one for her?
Wendy Shin: Johnny on the Days of our Lives Spot
Only 8% of you see future potential between Wendy (Victoria Grace) and Johnny (Carson Boatman). Sure, he’s fun and sweet and they seem to always have a good time together. Life would certainly never be dull with Johnny around! They can be on a neverending adventure. Does anyone really want a neverending adventure? Sometimes dullness has its good side…
DOOL: Look Around
No Johnny, and no Tripp (Lucas Adams), 23% of the audience isn’t impressed by either one. Wendy is smart and loyal and sweet and fun. She can do a lot better. She should keep looking around until the perfect man steps into her orbit. Maybe someone at work. A fellow tech genius. Someone who can really appreciate Wendy for everything she is, instead of wanting her to be the perfect woman for them.
Wendy Shin: Time To Grow
Wendy is also mature. That’s another way of saying that she’s a grown-up, while Johnny is an oversized child. Tripp is a grown-up too. He’s a doctor. And he has a couple of serious relationships under his belt, including Allie (Lindsay Arnold) who used and abused him. Sure, he may have made a misstep when he talked to Paulina (Jackée Harry) about Wendy, but it’s hardly a big one in the great scheme of Salem betrayals.
Tripp is currently unattached, and Wendy made of point of saying she was, too. Johnny is definitely not her boyfriend! So why not give it a try with Tripp and see what develops? It’s 69% of viewers for the win!
