We’re not sure what year it is on Days of our Lives. Thanks to the year-long Jennifer Horton Deveraux coma, Salem now seems to exist out of time. Nonetheless, life – and drama – goes on. There were plenty of rivalries. But which ones truly stood out?
Days of our Lives Polling: Ultimate Evil
The Devil skipped coming down to Georgia, and headed straight to Salem, much to the delight of 16% of the fans. It was nice to see a blast from the past. Especially when it made some otherwise angelic characters act out in particularly fun ways.
DOOL: One Times Three
Orpheus (George DelHoyo) almost got the best of John Black (Drake Hogestyn), Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) when he poisoned all of their women. Alas, they recovered (for now), which kind of disappointed 23% of fans, who want to see the bad guy stick around…and keep the good guys on the front burner. For you, the New Year may be a good one!

Days of our Lives Best Bet
EJ DiMera had a busy year, and on top of his activities list was smirking at Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) love life. First, he smirked at Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Then he smirked at Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Now, it’s even looking like he might get the last smirk…which delights 28% of you.
DAYS: Ladies’ Choice
But the most popular rivalry of the year was between two women, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), according to a winning 33%. Chloe had Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Kristen wanted Brady Black. So Kristen blackmailed Brady – with the lives of the three sick women above – to leave Chloe and come back to her…for wee Rachel’s sake, of course. Brady did it, but Chloe hardly laid down and died. She started dating Kristen’s brother – and continued snarking with Kristen. The best kind of rivalry is the kind where everyone is enjoying themselves.
