Once a serial killer story comes to a close on a soap, that’s usually the last you hear of it, but on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), the story that ushered in a two-year Dark Salem era is back–but why?
After all, once the story ended, nobody in Salem seemed to smile and ratings tanked in a way never seen before. So, like Soap Hub has said before–maybe it’s time to go back to the beginning and fix the whole mess that started with killing legacy character, Will.
As we know, Will is somehow alive and Sami and the gang will find him soon, but he’s not the only one coming back. While it doesn’t look like they’ll be alive, the other two victims will be making a return DAYS appearance–and things might get dark again–briefly.
Melissa Archer will briefly reprise her role as Serena, Ben’s first victim, and True O’Brien will appear as Paige, Ben’s second victim.

Rumor has it DAYS has quite the Halloween planned next week, so could these two characters somehow spookily be involved–and will it all lead to finding Will?
From what it looks like, Sami and Will’s loved ones will be traveling to Memphis. Of course, that reminds us of Elvis–and well, who loved Elvis more than anyone in Days of Our Lives history?
That’s right, Susan Banks. Eileen Davidson will also be back soon, so is she still searching for her King of Rock and Roll–and will this tie the whole Necktie Killer story up (pun intended) in a neat little package?
