He just showed up out of the blue on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) and announced that he was yet another long-lost DiMera heir.
Considering how many children Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) has had pop up over the years – Renee, Megan, Benjy, Andre, Chad, the list goes on and on – Stefan’s (Tyler Christopher) story had as much merit as anyone else’s.
But, then again, he did arrive with Vivian (Louise Sorel). And her truth-telling abilities are a bit… suspect, to say the least.
So is Stefan the real McCoy, or is he another one of Vivian’s long cons? Over 6,000 fans aired their suspicions:
Impostor Syndrome
He isn’t a turtle, he’s just the mock, 85% of you get poetic – and cynical. How convenient that another DiMera heir surfaces just as Vivian wants to take on Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Andre (Thaao Penghlis).
Are we really supposed to believe that Vivian has known that she gave birth to Stefano’s son, and that she only waited to spring this information until after Stefano was dead?

That makes no sense. The way Stefano inherits and disinherits his children at will, Vivian had to know her boy would stand a better chance of inheriting the whole enchilada if he kissed up to Daddy Dearest, and muscled the other heirs out.
The fact that Vivian only remembered Stefan now is proof he isn’t the real deal.
Like Father, Like Son
Stefan is a sleeze, just like Stefano. What other evidence do you need, 35% of the viewership wonders.
It’s because Stefano could disinherit him on a whim that Vivian kept her ace in the hole hidden until his death. Stefan can take on his siblings. But, he would have been no match for his father. Vivian is no fool. She knows better than anyone it’s easier to fight the dead than the living.
