Nicole leaves town with her much-wanted baby this week to parts unknown on Days of Our Lives (DOOL). It’s a new life for Nicole and Holly–and a new life for Arianne Zucker.
The actress chose to leave DAYS to try new things, never ruling out a return to Salem one day. (And the door has certainly been left open for her.)
Last week, Zucker tweeted that she was heading to wardrobe for a new gig. This week, it turns out she has a new gig with Shawn Christian, her real-life boyfriend, who played one of the loves of Nicole’s life, Daniel.
Both Zucker and Christian took to Instagram to post photos of themselves together taking selfies on what looks like a train set. Their faces are semi-hidden by their phones, but it’s not hard to see who’s behind there and so far fan reaction has been ecstatic.

While we’re not 100% sure if Ghost Daniel will arrive this week to help usher Nicole out of town (he’s been there for her in emotional situations before), we’re glad to know we’ll see Nicole and Daniel together again onscreen one day soon.
